Dear Family and Friends,
As most of you have heard by now, unfortunately Bryan’s leukemia is trying to come back. Thankfully the doctors caught it super early and have an aggressive treatment plan in place. This plan will include a new trial/study called NK Cell Therapy (Natural Killer Cells) and possibly another Stem Cell Transplant.
He is scheduled to begin the NK Cell therapy (56 day trial) next week on January 17th. Treatment will consist of Bryan being in the hospital for approximately 28 days and then staying in Houston as outpatient for a few additional weeks. After that, depending on what the doctors decide, he could possibly be readmitted to the hospital for 30 days for a Stem Cell Transplant and then will be outpatient in Houston for an additional 60 days.
Unfortunately, Bryan will not be able to work throughout this entire process and will not be able to return to work for some time after.
Your donations are greatly appreciated as it will help Bryan and his family with living and travel expenses throughout this extremely tough time.
