Bryan and Lindsey Baker are two of the strongest people I've ever met. Bryan had been working and saving up for an apartment big enough for their family of four. Then on Monday afternoon, he was involved in a horrific accident at work. (http://wishtv.com/2015/07/06/2-trucks-involved-in-accident-on-citys-east-side/)
Both of his legs are severely damaged and he will be in the hospital for the rest of the month. We are so thankful that he is alive, and so is he-- his first words to Lindsey were, "I thought I'd never see you again."
What the family needs now is their own house or apartment, so we are hoping to raise enough to help with rent for a year. I can't stress how hard they have worked all year, overcoming every obstacle thrown at them (there have been so many), and they have always pushed harder and figured out how to manage on their own. This, though, they need help.
Thank you so much.
