Our story starts online... not Match.com or the like, more like Google Hangouts and Skype. See, Kat was waiting for a job to start up and Bryan was recovering from shoulder surgery when they were introduced by mutual friends during a Google Hangout. Things starts off in groups of us hanging out, trying out various hats, sharing songs, stories, and poems the few of us had written. But when everyone else had to head to bed, Kat and Bryan kept talking about space and Higgs Boson particles. About a mutual attraction to Neil deGrasse Tyson. About our favorite bands. And these conversations just never stopped (until Bryan realized the sun was rising in Boston).

Eventually, Bryan had to meet Kat in person. So under the guise of seeing a Kevin Devine show, he flew out to Los Angeles and got to hang out in person when they both realized, through a little awkwardness, that the attraction was undeniable. Bryan went back home to Boston a week later and found out his office would be closing down, so he started looking for jobs in Los Angeles. A few months later, he found one and Kat offered him a place to stay so he could move out. Bryan, all to happy to live with a dog again, moved out to Los Angeles for good in August 2012. Shortly thereafter, we found a place to live with our friend Chris, who stuck with our annoying habits and a licky dog for a couple of years.

The years went by... we had some high and low moments, but we knew after those we could make it forever. In September 2015, Bryan planned a proposal in the famous rotunda of City Hall, where an all too surprised Kat agreed to marry the fur ball.

We'll be heading to Ireland shortly after the wedding, and in lieu of traditional wedding presents, we'd love either your immense talents in helping to prepare the wedding ceremony and reception, or a gift to help fund our trip to the Emerald Isle!
