Bryana-Ronda Kigundu

On behalf of everyone that knows Bryana-Ronda's parents David and Veronica Kigundu, I, a long time friend of David and Veronica have set up this page, with their permission to honour Bryana- Ronda and to try to raise funds for her funeral.

On Thursday morning, 4th January 2024, Bryana- Ronda, a 19yr old young lady suffered a cardiac arrest at home in the presence of her Mum Veronica and older sister Vida and was pronounced dead at the scene when the paramedics arrived despite Vida's efforts with CPR before help arrived. Prior to this, she was well enough and even spoke to 111 call handlers herself during the assessment of her symptoms and a more senior assessor was meant to call her back within 4 hours. Sadly, she died before 111 called back.

She was a health and happy teenager with a very bright future. She was a first year student at Arts University Bournemouth studying Performance design and film costume. Her parents/family and all those that knew her are all devastated, distraught and in shock. Words alone cannot express our heart felt grief and sympathy for this family at this trying time.

We are currently kindly asking for donations to help cover the cost of Bryana's funeral. Her body will be flown to Uganda in East Africa where her funeral and burial will take place. Her immediate family will be travelling with the body. We need to raise £15,000 in order to afford this.
