Hello, my name is Bryan Pack and I reside in Knoxville, TN. I am married to a wonderful lady, Elizabeth, and we have two teenage boys, Brandon and Christian.
Back in August of 2016, I was diagnosed with throat cancer (Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the neck). This came as a shock to someone who's never used tobacco products. Since then, I have undergone 3 surgeries to remove the tumors from my neck lymphnodes and a tumor from the base of my tongue. I have since started a regimen of radiation and chemo therapy to combat the cancers growth further. I am still undergoing my radiation and chemo treatments. However, halfway through the treatments, I was informed that they may have missed some of the tumor and now we're awaiting my next medical scans to ensure they have indeed gotten all the cancer and what my next options will be.
We have medical insurance, but we still had a large deductibles and "maximum out of pocket expenses".
Normally, I would be hesitant to ask for help from GoFundMe and other charitable people however, halfway through my treatments (right after Christmas), I found out that my company was closing down and I lost my job on New Years Eve. With me being unemployed, we're getting concerned that I will not have enough money to pay for my ongoing medical expenses.
Any donations will be used for medical expenses and future procedures (if needed) and any living expenses until I can finish my treatments and find another job.
Anything that can be donated, toward this cause, would greatly appreciated. I am so thankful to have wonderful family and friends, that have supported me during this time. Please keep my family and I in your thoughts and prayers.
