Bryan Metcalf Family Recovery Fund

This is being written on behalf of Bryan and his family.

On Tuesday evening Bryan was in a very bad ATV accident and suffered severe head trauma. He had been working on a friends quad replacing the clutch cable and rode it up the road to test the new cable. The quad caught on something in the road and it ejected him off the quad. He hit the pavement just right and it caused extreme head trauma. He was only about 50 yards from his home so an ambulance arrived quickly and it was determined he needed to be airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. He was immediately taken into surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain.
He has a long road of recovery ahead of him and is going to need a lot of support from friends and family. His fiancé is staying in Seattle so she can be there as much as possible with his daughter. This is incurring a lot of expenses - food, gas, hotel, etc that are adding up quickly. Plus all the medical expenses they will start to see.

Bryan has now woken up and is responding to some conversation. He has staples across his head from ear to ear. He is expected to have a long extended stay in the hospital.

Bryan is the type of guy that will do anything to help out a friend or stranger. If you ride the trails of Tahuya you have probably ran into him as this is his backyard and his stomping grounds. He is a mechanic and is always the first one on any ride to give a helping hand. I can not tell you how many times I have been on a ride with him and he has helped clean air filters, jumpstart quads, zip tied a arms, or did whatever needed to be done to help someone get back on the trails or safely back to their vehicles. Last night as I was looking through pictures about half of the ones I have of Bryan are of him fixing someone’s quad on the ride.
He always has such a positive attitude and an amazing smile that makes any ride so much better. He is laid back, easy going, and always willing to lend a hand - whenever I ride I always want Bryan there!!!

Bryan and his fiancé Tamara have an amazing daughter together. Tamara has been at Bryan’s side since the accident happened and she has been praying the whole time for a miracle. Any donations will go straight to Bryan and Tamara to help them through this time of need.

Thank you so much!!!!
