Hi everyone, my name is Bryan Perez and I'm starting this GoFundMe to help my 9-year-old pitbull start chemotherapy. His name is Maverick and he's the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. Anyone who's met Maverick knows how much of a big loving baby he can be. Maverick's been with me for 8 years and he's been by my side for a lot in my life, and we've gone through a lot together. I couldn't ask for a better companion. My love for him has grown immensely over the years and everyone sees our strong bond.

Unfortunately, life does happen and upon coming back home after a year-long deployment with the Army, I've noticed Maverick's change in behavior, loss of weight/appetite, and drive go down from his normal state. After numerous visits to the vet hospital, I've been given the news that Maverick's got diagnosed with bladder/prostate cancer, and in order for him to have a better chance of fighting this off, he will need chemotherapy/radiation. As strong as Maverick is, he is still fighting this and I just want him to try and get better. So I hope this story finds you well and hope I can get a little help for my boy. Me and him have a lot of fight left in us and I just want him to be the energetic loving companion everyone has come to love.
