Bryan Koser

Eight years ago, Bryan suffered an accident that spared his life but left him with permanent nerve damage to his legs and feet. He has been battling issues ever since, including multiple surgeries. He has somehow continued to work through his pain to provide for his family, which includes his wife and three young sons still at home. He recently started feeling very sick, and a trip to the emergency room for his symptoms on March 10 delivered the devastating news that his body was infected and starting to go septic – the only way to save his life was to amputate his leg below the knee as soon as possible.
This will obviously be a life-changing surgery for Bryan and his family. As Bryan begins his long, hard road to recovery, his family will lose their sole source of income. On top of their normal everyday expenses, they will now be faced with the financial burden that is sure to come with accommodating this new handicapped. In addition to necessary rehabilitation and therapy, their home will require expensive renovations both inside and out. This is a whole new world for Bryan and his family, so we aren’t sure what all expenses will be incurred now and, in the future, but we know that help is needed.
