​Hello, my name is Justin Claus, a close family member to Bryan and Janessa. ​Bryan and Janessa have faced a series of challenges after a life-changing event.

On September 28th, they left home to celebrate their eight-year anniversary. They planned to go out for dinner where they had made reservations, but were instead met with a tragedy that would impact and shape the rest of their lives.

A collision occurred just five minutes after they left home, resulting in them both being hospitalized with major injuries.

Bryan continues to fight for his life, struggling with multiple life-altering injuries. Janessa, despite her inability to currently walk, has managed to find her way back to Bryan's side while he remains in the ICU. ​
