Brutus’ Radiation Therapy
Brutus got his tumour removed, and we’re almost at the finish line for being totally free of this cancer!
Its time for Brutus to get radiation therapy. After they did a biopsy they confirmed he had a grade 2 tumour. It is likely it will come back, and it usually comes back after about a year. Therefore, he needs radiation to kill any cells that were left behind after his surgery!
The cost for his radiation therapy is $23,000.
We have to move away for a month, with Boo and Zeppy, as they don’t do radiation therapy over here. So there’s the cost of the placewe’re going to have to stay at- for an entire month!
Both of these extremely large expenses totally took me by surprise and after his $11,000 surgery across to the US, we expected a few grand for this- not $23,000! Ahhh!
This fundraiser is to help support Brutus the best I can. Spending roughly $40,000 within a month (including travel expenses, housing, medications, etc) has been very scary! Any help is very much appreciated
