Hi there, my name is Viv and I’m helping my friend Brutum fundraise for medical expenses- specifically transportation costs just to be able to receive life-saving medical treatment.

I’ve known Brutum for a few years through his tireless advocacy for Universal Basic Income. Politics aside, Brutum has selflessly given his time and energy to others at the height of the UBI conversation, to help others in need.

As a US Vet struggling with PTSD, Brutum has now developed cirrhosis of the liver which causes extreme pain and daily distress. He requires daily treatments but transportation costs to and from the medical centers average about $500/week. It’s unsustainable but he desperately needs the treatments.

We are hoping to raise enough funds for him to have about 6 months’ worth of transportation.

His prognosis is unknown at this time- he is just trying to get through each day at this point.
