Help for Essential worker brutally attacked

Hi all,
I'm going to try to make this somewhat short. I'm a supervisor at QFC in Ballard. Moses is one of my checkers. He's one of my good ones. A sweet nature, kind heart, laid back, and hardworking kid. I say kid, because he is 20. Nice to everyone who meets him. Call it southern hospitality. No matter how he is treated by some of our more colorful customers, he's polite, and patient.
On Saturday Aug 1st 2020, he was walking to work at about 640 am in the morning. His shift started at 7. He's always on time and never calls out. As he was coming by the Ballard Market a man brutally attacked Moses, hospitalizing him and a man who intervened to stop the attack.
Moses mother flew in from Texas. He was born here, but grew up there. Moses is home now, recovering from a severe concussion and a broken nose. He will be out of work indefinitely. He wants to come back but is not able to just yet. We are allowing as much time as he needs to be home. We are covering his shifts, and going week by week.
We are reaching out to the community to help with his medical bills and time loss from work. We also know that with rent's being high, that Moses will need help with that indefinitely. We do not know at this time when Moses will be back to work and we want to make sure this young man is taken care of in the foreseeable future.
The other goal that we would like to see, is that Moses gets a car so he is no longer walking the long walk to work. He sometimes works night shifts and we want him feeling safe enough to come back to work.
We know we've had many of you come into the store asking about what you can do for him and I know he will appreciate anything at this time.
