Bruna’s healing journey.

Hello everyone!

Today I come here to make a very special request for our friend: Bruna Carvalho.

For those who don't know her, Bruna is the most charismatic, loving, inclusive, upbeat, and wonderful person I have met.

Bruna is a beacon of light in the lives of all those around her, and that's why we're reaching out to you in this chain of kindness!

Bruna has been diagnosed with stage 2 non-Hodgkins T-cell lymphoma. It's a rare and aggressive lymphoma, but with the right treatment, it has a prognosis of up to 70% of cure rate!

As part of her 5-6 months treatment, Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy will be covered by her Medical Insurance. However, there are other costs involved in her treatment that will not be covered by the health insurance, such as, medications that she will need to take in between chemotherapy cycles and also an autologous stem cell transplant, that must be done once she has finished the chemotherapy treatment to ensure she is fully cured, and so she doesn’t run the risk of having the disease coming back later in her life.

In addition, we still don't know how she'll respond to treatment (if she'll be able to work or how much she'll be able to), so the fundraising will also contribute to her everyday living expenses. So, every bit of help counts!

Together, we can ensure Bruna gets the best treatment possible, so she can continue brightening the lives of her family, friends, and godchildren who love her so much!

Olá pessoal! Hoje venho fazer um pedido muito especial para a nossa amiga: a Bruna Carvalho.

Pra quem não conhece, a Bruna é a pessoa mais carismática, agregadora, alto astral e maravilhosa que existe! Tanto que ela foi parar na Australia e conquistou todos por aqui também!

Ela é luz na vida de todos que as cercam e é por isso que pedimos a ajuda de vocês nessa corrente do bem!

A Bruna foi diagnosticada com um linfoma não Hodgkin de células T em estágio 2. É um linfoma raro e agressivo mas que, com o tratamento correto, tem um prognóstico de até 70% de cura! A quimioterapia será coberta pelo convênio médico, mas precisaremos de ajuda para outros custos importantes, entre eles um auto transplante de células tronco, que é a chave para a completa cura deste tipo de linfoma!

Qualquer ajuda importa! Ainda não sabemos como ela reagirá ao tratamento (se conseguirá trabalhar ou mesmo o quanto poderá tabalhar). Por isso, a vakinha também irá contribuir para as suas despesas do cotidiano.
