Memorial for Bruno Kastner

Hello. I am a friend of Bruno's wife. Bruno was a much loved member of the community, who loved his family deeply.

Last week, Bruno passed away suddenly, obviously shocking his family and workmates greatly.

Bruno had friends everywhere, and what he didn't know about gardening wasn't worth knowing. Everyone has spoken of how he remembered people. He made people feel like old friends at his work place. He remembered names and customer numbers, what people liked to grow, what people were having issues with, how their kids were doing. Bruno remembered.

It's now our turn to remember Bruno.

His family would like to fund a memorial bench at the Botanical Garden in Bruno's name. It's a beautiful place for people to sit and be reminded about a man who treated everyone with kindness. This costs $500 per year, and we hope to raise enough to cover 20 years.
