I'm reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart to ask for help with an unexpected emergency. My beloved cat, Brunoise “Bruno" recently had to undergo life-saving emergency surgery due to an intestinal blockage. The procedure was urgent and necessary, and I couldn’t imagine not doing everything possible to save him.

I’ve had Bruno since he was about 10 days old. He’s not just a pet, he’s family, my baby, and my life companion. There’s truly no cost I wouldn’t bear to keep him alive and healthy, but the medical bills have been overwhelming. So far, the cost of the emergency surgery has exceeded $9,000, and there’s still one more day of hospitalization and post-op medications ahead.

I would never normally ask for help, but this unexpected expense has put me in a tough spot. If you’re able to contribute—even just a dollar—it would mean the world.
