Brucie's memorial fund

Dear friends and family,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Richard (Bruce) Turner.

He was a dedicated family man, a passionate rugby enthusiast, and a committed volunteer in his community. He fought a brave battle against cancer, but unfortunately, he passed away in a relatively short period of time.

As we mourn his loss, we want to honor his memory by continuing his legacy of giving back to the community. We have set up this GoFundMe page to raise funds in recognition of his dedication to grassroots rugby at the Old Brodleians RUFC and his four decades of volunteering at the club, as well as to supporting charities that were close to his heart.

We know that many of you would like to express your condolences and support during this difficult time. Instead of sending flowers, we would be grateful if you could make a donation to this fund. Your contribution will help us celebrate his life and continue his legacy of giving back.

From the money raised we plan to create a lasting memorial to commemorate Bruce's dedication to the club and continue his legacy as a volunteer in our community, as well as to make a donation to the charities that were important to our dad.
