Bruce's bills

On December 20th, the doggy daycare in Heaven gained another member as we lost Bruce to colon cancer. Bruce had been sick for a couple years, though it was believed to be stress so he refused to go to the doctor - assuming the ill feeling was a result of the 24/7 life he and I have lived for so many years. In the beginning of October he could not function. He finally went to the ER and was in the hospital for nine days. They were unable to operate as the cancer had spread too far. Two rounds of chemo and a feeding tube, nothing was helping him. He still went to a nose work class after being in the hospital the first time. Bruce wanted to be with the dogs, but didn't have the strength. After one of his hospital visits, we had to stop in Tarentum for something. He jumped out of the van and went in just to see the dogs. Bruce got his last daycare hug from Ellie (who gives the best hugs). Bruce tried to fight that cancer, he wanted to come back to the dogs, but it was just too much.
Bruce’s care the last few months has entailed multiple hospital visits with mounting medical bills. Bruce was a veteran who loved his wife Kim and working and caring for his dogs at Ringer’s Pet Training. Any contribution you can make will support the coverage of Bruce’s medical bills and funeral expenses.
Your support during this devastating and challenging time is sincerely appreciated.
