Our son, Bruce Wright, Jr., affectionately known as Rock is critically ill in the burn unit at UMC Hospital in Las Vegas, NV.
Rock has been diagnosed with Stevens-Johnson Syndrome.
Stevens-Johnson syndrome is a rare, serious disorder of your skin and mucous membranes. It's usually a reaction to a medication or an infection. Often, it begins with flu-like symptoms, followed by a painful red or purplish rash that spreads and blisters.
Rock has the most severe case of the syndrome that any doctor has ever seen because it looks like his body has been set on fire and burned really bad.
We are asking for donations to aid in our lodging, food, transportation and medical care for our son.
