Bruce Wayne (Brucie)

My name is Theresa and I’m raising funds to help Bruce get the heart surgery he needs. Bruce is a Cane Corso and was born February 8th, he is 4 months old! Why am I doing this you might ask?  Because I am the mom to his big sister Koa from the 2019 litter, and his sister Harley from this litter. This group really adore their pups!  Bruce loves to play with his siblings and loves everyone he meets. We started to notice that Brucie had an ever growing abdomen and he was taken to the vet several times to figure out the cause. After tons of tests, thousand of dollars, and much time with the vet and cardiologist, it was discovered that Bruce has a very rare congenital heart defect where his right atrium has two chambers when it should be one. One chamber has such high pressure, it is forcing fluid in to his abdomen. It is so rare that only one vet in Western Washington will even attempt the surgery and treat it. Without the surgery, fluid will continue to build until it puts so much pressure on his internal organs and his parents would have to say goodbye.
