Bruce Elliot Searls was 66 years old when he was called home by our Lord and Savior. He was a long time resident of Apple Valley, CA. Born in Iowa to William & Millrae Searls on January 18th, 1955. Bruce was the “baby” of three boys. His brothers, Dennis & Tom Searls where his best friends.

After being diagnosed over 10 years ago with leukemia, Bruce was in remission. Later he was diagnosed with COPD and was losing oxygen which led to sudden cardiac arrest on April 23rd. He was transported to the hospital and on Saturday, April 24th he passed peacefully with his girls by his side. He is survived by his wife, Susan of 34 years, three daughters and sons-in-law, Christy & George Nimeh, Lindsey & Justin Holderness, and Amanda & Joe Hunter. Bruce was loved by many, especially his 6 grandchildren – Jacob Nimeh, Maddy Nimeh, Ryder Holderness, Hayden Holderness, Nathan Hunter & Jackson Hunter.

As this loss was very unexpected, we started this page to help provide some financial support to the Searls Family as they mourn the loss of their beloved husband and father.
