My and Rachel Perry’s father, Bruce Perry, passed away unexpectedly earlier this week. He was in decent health and was doing fine when we were here visiting less than two weeks ago. It has been a quite a shock and difficult for all of us to process.

The costs for the funeral are very expensive. We have tried to cut expenses where we can, but it still a large financial burden. My sister and I are contributing as much as we can, but most of the financial burden is falling on my mother, Cheryl Perry. My father did not have life insurance and did not have a lot of money to leave my mother. My mother is currently unemployed and has had difficulty finding a job recently. We do not want her to eat away at her limited savings to pay for this funeral.

Our father was a wonderful human being with a great sense of humor. He could always make people laugh. He loved God and his family very much. I know that he is proud of us and watching over us from Heaven. We love you and will miss you so much, Dad!
