Bruce Nelson heart surgery

Hi, my name is Judy, & I'm humbly giving you an opportunity to help with financial needs of my highly skilled, creative and ambitious brother, Bruce Nelson.

Bruce (age 63) suffered a heart attack at the end of his workday on August 1, 2023. On August 7, he underwent open heart surgery for a triple coronary bypass. We thank God for a good recovery so far.

Current financial needs of him and his wife:

a.medical expenses not covered by insurance ($5,000);

b.loss of employment due to the need for rehabilitation after surgery means that Bruce has lost his income to cover existing bills.

Bruce has always done physical labor, primarily with concrete. For many years, he has made concrete work a self-employed business. Living in Minnesota, concrete is typically worked only 6 months /year. At present time, his recovery from surgery requires that he not work for the rest of this season. Accurate prognosis can't be made for his future ability to work, but we are hopeful. Transitions and adjustments are certain to be required over time, to enable him to find a way to earn an income again.
