Bruce Krishna and Family Displaced by Fire

Hi, my name is Emily and on behalf of friends and coworkers, we are fundraising to help Bruce Krishna and his family.

On the evening of December 16th, 2022, Bruce Krishna and his family were displaced from their home due to a fire. The house located next door to Bruce’s house, which was under construction, erupted in fire. The blaze is being treated as a suspicious fire though it is still under investigation. The fire destroyed the home and caused extensive damage to Bruce’s home and the neighbouring homes due to the heat and exposure to the fire. The Krishna family was home when this happened and had only minutes to get to safety. Bruce and his family have been evacuated and cannot return to their home. No injuries have been reported. The electrical and gas services to their home had to be shut down and there is extensive damage from the heat and smoke. Emergency social services were called to provide temporary housing for them. All of their personal belongings have been damaged by smoke and they are being told they will not be allowed back in their home for likely 6 months or more.
