Bruce Cohen/ Boomerang’s Gourmet Burgers Joint Update: 3/29/19. Bruce is recovering slowly. His recovery will be take some time, so all the donations are welcome. He will need his bills covered for the next few months. Thank you to his friends who took in his cat during this time. On March 21 2019, Bruce had a life changing stroke that will require a lot of time to recover.  During this time he won’t be able to work at the restaurant, yet he has personal expenses and business expenses that still need to be covered.  As many of you know Bruce and Boomerang’s (as well as his business partner Jose), have been a local family favorite for many over the past 12 years, especially in the San Diego area of Clairemont.  I know personally he has given to many local fundraiser, and charities. As a local small business owner, they have been so kind to the community such as hosting the local voter booth, allow small groups to use his restaurant, there have even been weddings, as well as many other special gatherings (even a divorce party). People have asked how they can help; the biggest need is to cover expenses; personal, business and medical.    Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
