Nathan Beckman's Brain Camp Fund

Donation protected
My dear friends are in need of some prayers and donations.   Brain camp is in less than 2 weeks and they are about $5000 shy of having the money necessary for Nathan to attend.  Please donate if you can.  And everyone pray for this young man.   Here's Nathan's story told by his mother Kathy:   Today is a very emotional day for me, because just one year ago today my life changed in a very dramatic way. My youngest son Nathan Beckman suffered a brain bleed in Norton, Ks, and was near death. Dr Griffey said that he had less than a 25% chance of surviving this tragedy, but there might be a chance if he was transported to Kearney, so we took that chance to keep my son alive, a helicopter ride to Kearney, and then surgery to drain the blood out of his brain. The Drs at Kearney only gave him a 25% chance of suviving this also. Since the blessings upon this young man and our family keep coming, Nathan Beckman was spared and God gave us his life back. Now the battle has been won, it is just the clean up after the devastation that we are experiencing now. As you can see by the pictures he has come such a long way from a year ago!! God is good!! I again want to thank all the many people that prayed for him and our family, the people that gave us money to keep on going, the people that held my hand while I prayed and cried, when one lonely night in the ICU, I was certain that he just wanted to die, and I couldn't do anything but pray. I stayed up all night that night, because I thought it would be his last day. But a miracle happened and a friend gave me some wonderful healing prayers to repeat over and over to Nathan, and I did, and he seemed to rally. So with renewed energy and the grace of God, we have been moving forward ever since. He is talking and walking with a walker and some assistance, and getting water therapy which will help him walk without help. We are planning a series of other therapies to help him come back to the awesome young man he always was. One is a brain camp in Idaho, it will be 12 days and they specialize in helping people with brain damage from PTSD, autism, ADD & ADHA, tramatic brain injury, epilepsy, look for [email redacted] and learn more about it.

Then more cranial sacral intensive therapy in New Mexico where there are many therapists work on him at the same time, causing tremendous healing to the body. Our journey is not over yet, and we continue to covet prayers and positive thoughts but just know that everyday that goes by we are so thankful for each and everyone who has touched our lives in such a tremendous way. With Gratitude, Kathy and Nathan Beckman.
