Team Margie Wilson

I am reaching out to everyone for your support to help the Wilson family.  Margie relocated from Colorado over to River Falls Wisconsin with her husband Paul and two sons, Cody (19) and Tyler (17). They have now lived in River Falls, Wisconsin for the past 13 years and have made such a huge impact here.  Although missing  her Colorado mountains and family, she has always put everything she has into her family, job, and friends. If your a lucky one, you had the chance to witness the most memorable laughter you have ever heard.

Margie was diagnosed with COPD over a year ago. She found herself needing ongoing oxygen, doctor appointments and medications that have a high cost even with insurance. The Wilson's received the news of End Stage COPD recently and things moved and still moving fast.  The family decided to receive Hospice care at home.  Adding to difficult decisions they are faced with, the pandemic still rolls on and the choice of home care hospice is the best decision for them in order for Margie to see, touch and hear her boys and her husband. Margie can rest better knowing her boys are right there. 

As many know, Margie is a private person and dealing well with her friends asking for help.  Margie understands they need help with medical, oxygen, medications, hospice, home nurses, and the ongoing life bills . Margie and Paul's income has always both been needed and now Margie is completely out of work.  Paul is needed at home with Margie and the boys but also needed at work to provide for them. Paul is also under a great deal of stress to be able to provide and be at home. 

Margie is unable to spend time with everyone she loves and it's been very difficult for her. If you know Margie, you know that she runs on pure heart. She will love you and your children just as much or even more. I had the greatest honor to meet her 13 years ago inside the Wildcat hockey rink where our boys became best friends together and our friendship took off from there. We were both new at this hockey mom thing but we ran hard with it but it left hundreds of beautiful memories between our families. I found this very difficult to write because our friendship between our families run so deep that I can't even put into words.  Her smile and laugh record in my mind like it's on replay. Her husbands huge laughter with his glasses he never removes. Her boys beautiful dark eyes with their great smiles.  That's what pushes me to get them the help they need right now. 

Please help this family in the time they need it most. My goal and hope is for Margie is to spend her time that remains with her family and not to worry about financial  stress. 

We all appreciate and whole hearted love everyone of you who is supporting this family.  It's very difficult for some people to even ask for help and the Wilson's are one of them. They are givers and not receivers so this was a huge decision to share their story with everyone.
