‍♂️‍♀️ CANAL WALK FUNDRAISER ‍♀️‍♂️

Brownstown Hurling Club are delighted to announce our plans to run a 44 kilometre walk along the banks of the canal over two days, August 27th and 28th, 2021.

We are anticipating a minimum of 20 walkers, and each walker would take on to raise €1,000. Each walker will have a support team of three or four people to help them fundraiser the money.

Included in the walk is an overnight stay in a Mullingar hotel with an evening meal included on the Friday and breakfast on the Saturday morning, prior to completion of the walk, which is to be provided by the club. The walk will finish in the general vicinity of Killucan, with refreshments to be provided afterwards, and hopefully some craic agus ceol will be had. More details have yet to be finalised by our committee.

The walk is in conjunction with the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, who will receive 10% of the funds that are raised.
