Brownie's Bean Blossom Family Restaurant

Hello, my name is Tania Lattimore. My husband and I recently purchased Brownie's Bean Blossom Family Restaurant in Indiana. It has been an iconic restaurant in the area serving homemade comfort food to local residents and tourists to the town of Nashville and surrounding communities for over 30 years.

 

Brownie's was originally owned by a local couple who put their heart and soul into this family-friendly gathering place. When they encountered expensive problems to fix, they had to close their doors. We knew it needed to have water redirected away from the building and the floor replaced when we purchased it, but it has become so much more. We are now faced with compromising what REALLY needs to be done with what we can afford to do to get by and open it within local code requirements.

 

We desperately want to return this restaurant to it's glory days when people came down from Indy just to eat here and tourists stopped on their way to Nashville to shop, but we have nothing more to give to put into the restoration. We love this restaurant, and we know you do too. We don't want to let you down. We need your help.

 

This idea is a long shot, and I have been hesitant to initiate it. I want to ensure we have exhausted all resources before settling and compromising what we need/want to do. We got ourselves in this mess, and we will get through. Still, I want to see if the community is interested in helping with this restoration so we can get everything done right, get the doors back open, and begin serving homemade comfort food to you again quickly and efficiently.
