Gina Brown and Marian Brinker are two wonderful mothers, wives and dedicated Union fans who are battling cancer. Beards for Brown and Brinker is an initiative to raise money for these two admirable families in their fight against cancer.
The Brown and Brinker families are deeply involved with Union College athletics, so if we reach our $5,000 goal Union athletic trainer, Erik Ackerman, and the strength and conditioning coach, Dan Gableman, have generously agreed to shave their beards! The team or organization that raises the most money is given the privilege to shave the mighty beards.
This challenge will close on November 15th, 2016 and if the monetary goal is met the event will take place on Wednesday, November 16th. We have 15 days to raise $5,000! Although the Union College athletic community is small, we know that this cause means so much to so many. We encourage you to donate and thank you so much for your continuous support of our Union family!
