Brotið is our Icelandic lamb that broke his leg. He is the youngest of the new lambs born this month and was accidentally trampled by one of the older ewes in the flock. The vet said there is only a 25% chance of his leg healing in his cast, and if it doesn't heal, we will have to amputate the leg or put him down. We have become quite attached to this little guy throughout this ordeal, and we would like him to have the opportunity to live a long, happy three-legged life. Our Icelandic sheep flock are not only considered part of the family, but also provide wool to our craft farm for products and educational projects. 

 

The amount we are asking for will cover vet bills including: x-rays, visits, sedation, cast application, and amputation if necessary. There have also been additional hay costs to keep his mom contained with him so he doesn't cause further injury to the fractured leg to see if it can heal properly. Anything helps!
