The Brothers Grin are Andrew Nulph and Austin Shumaker, friends from New Bethlehem Pennsylvania that produce videos and podcasts for the internet.
This duo has created several short films in recent months including the dramedy In White, the horror-comedy film Trap, and the recently released comedy mini-series The Twenty-Something Chronicles. Hoping to expand their brand, the Brothers are currently searching for funds to finance their very own feature film to be shot in Western Pennsylvania this September.
No TV show, short film, or feature film is created without a budget and it is through the generosity of family and friends that $1000 has already been raised. That is a mere portion of what is needed, however; expenses grow quickly on a project like this and every small contribution helps. While small in comparison to other feature film budgets, the $6000 that is needed through this will go tremendously far thanks to generous equipment and location donations.
This money will go toward:
- Additional Equipment
- Cast and Crew
- Props
- Housing
- Wardrobe
- Pre-Production Expenditures
The pre-production stage has begun and the guys are busy writing and preparing for September and it is now up to you to make this dream a reality. Any donation, no matter how small, is a stepping stone toward getting this film made and helping fulfill a lifelong goal for two friends. This isn't an investment in a film; it's an investment in a future.
Recently graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications with a concentration in Film, Andrew Nulph is the writer and director of this feature and is excited for what the future has to offer. The first two episodes of his comedy mini-series, The Twenty-Something Chronicles, can be seen below:

The acquisition of this goal is about more than just attaining a budget; it's about seeing the faith placed in you by someone who realizes your potential. It's about realizing your dream.
The Brothers Grin are constantly learning and working to perfect their craft. This feature film is sure to be a tremendous showcase for their talents!
