Brothers in Need After Tragic Loss

On May 7th, 2025, a beautiful soul was taken far too soon. My boyfriend’s mother passed away after being sick for a long time, and although we knew she wasn’t well, no one was prepared to lose her like this.

She was the heart of the home, strong, loving, and always putting her boys first. She leaves behind two sons: my boyfriend, who is 20, and his little brother, who is only 14. Their stepdad passed away a few years ago, and though their father is still living, he has not been a part of their lives in any meaningful way. Now, it’s just the boys, their grandmother who’s had two strokes since December, and a whole lot of grief.

The oldest son is trying his best to make all the ends meet, he has big shoes to fill.

This loss has hit the younger brother especially hard. He’s just a kid, trying to understand why his world feels so different now. What he needs most is stability, a safe home, food on the table, and time to heal.

We’re asking for help to cover rent, groceries, and basic expenses so they can stay afloat while figuring out what’s next. Anything helps, truly and if you can’t give, a simple share or kind word means so much.
