Janaza Expenses for Brother Atif
Donation protected
"inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon" (To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return)
Brother Atif Mabano, age 37, from Burundi, passed away. Brother Atif leaves behind a young son. Some of you may remember Atif from when he worked as a security guard during the last ten nights of Ramadan at the ISBCC. Unfortunately, Brother Atif was homeless and was living in his car.
We will update you when his Janaza Prayer and Burial will be once the Medical Examiner releases his body.
We are fundraising for Brother Atif’s Janaza Expenses ($7,500). Al-Marhama will be contributing $1,000 from the Needy Fund. In order to cover the remaining balance, Al-Marhama has set up a donation page online. Please donate generously! In the event of surplus donations received, the additional donations will go to the Al-Marhama Needy fund to help future families in need pay for the burial expenses.
To donate for Brother Atif's Janaza, please click on the donate button.
You may also send checks payable to "Al-Marhama Burial Services" to 100 Malcolm X Boulevard, Roxbury, MA 02120. Please write “Needy Fund” in the Notes/Memo section. (Al-Marhama is a non-profit organization, donations are tax-deductible and zakat eligible.)
O Allah, forgive him and have mercy upon him, excuse him and pardon him, and cleanse him with water, snow, and ice, and purify him of sin as a white robe is purified of filth. O Allah, exchange his home for a better home, and his family for a better family. Admit him in Paradise as his ultimate home, protect him from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the fire. O Allah, grant patience to his family and friends and provide them with strength and strong iman to recover from this difficult loss. Ameen.
Please do your best to attend the Janaza prayer and burial, and remember the deceased and his family in your prayers. Please let these notifications be a reminder of the reality of this world.
JazakAllah,
