That's Brother. He's a good boy and a great companion. This boy has helped me through some heavy stuff, was a dear soul to my late father, and is well respected in the community. I love to refer to him as "bar trained" or "minor celebrity" in the valley, because anywhere he ends up, he's recognized, welcomed, and generally makes everyone's day a little better. This guy is my copilot and stands to become a welcomed member, helping support adults experiencing disability at my current job. As it is now, he has ongoing sinus and olfactory issues. He's lost weight and even breathing can be an effort. He has antibiotics to help for now but his vet strongly feels that he may have tumor. We are moving forward with a consultation for a CT scan as per the vets suggestion, instead of a sinus flush. This will provide us with needed data to determine the best route forward. He is cared for, loved, and concerned for. Moving directly towards a scan puts me further out financially than I first had hoped but everything donated goes to that now. I'm not a fan of asking for things but I've been encouraged by many people, including his vet, to reach out this way. Nothing is expected but anything is appreciated.
Thank you, all!
Justin & Brother
