Brother Tai- Car Accident Recovery Fund

Hi all- my name is Tuyen Ullrich. I am creating this fundraiser for my little brother, Tai, who is recovering from a major car accident that occurred around 2am, Thursday 6/23.
He recently opened a new restaurant with his team therefore has been working late and tirelessly each night to finish paperwork, close the store, and prepare the store for opening with his other managers. He was driving home after working a late shift that night and dozed off for a brief second at the wheel. Before he realized it, his truck was midair between an overpass on 121 and crashed 10-15ft down into the underpass, straight into a guardrail, stopping short of a creek below. If the guardrail was not there, he would have dropped an additional 10ft into the creek. Somehow, he was alert enough to try and escape a now burning truck. After trying all doors and attempting to punch at windows with no luck, he dragged his way through the back of his truck and was able to crawl and hide behind a support beam as his truck burned away in front of him.
We are not sure who contacted the first responders but we want say THANK YOU to the anonymous caller and to the Lewisville first responders team who arrived in time to transport Tai to a nearby hospital.
Somehow, Tai survived through all of this. He is currently recovering from a pelvis fracture, sprained right ankle, left foot injury with potential broken bones and enduring unknowns as he remains in the hospital-waiting hopefully for a discharge soon.
I am typically not the person to ask for help but our family would appreciate anything our friends and family can support with at this time as he recovers from this accident.
My family and I are appreciative for his life but know there were some items he lost and will need to recover that will be a financial burden. He will be temporarily out of work and will also have medical bills as he recently started this new job (moved from Houston back home) and unfortunately his medical insurance does not become effective until July 1st.
We are truly THANKFUL he is alive.
