Brother Simeon Mukuna funeral services

Simeon Mbuyu Mukuna tragically passed away on Saturday evening 02/06/2021 in Columbia, MD.

Our brother was helping a friend fix his car on the apartments parking lot that Saturday afternoon. This is who he was, a helper! Then, a gunman pulled up in a car and shot him dead in the parking lot.  He took Simeon away from family, friends and loved ones.

Simeon was full of dreams, and had so much joy to share around him. He is remembered as a wonderful, respectful and courageous young man.

Simeon loved soccer. He was a senior at Richard Montgomery High School (Montgomery County,MD) where he played in the varsity soccer team. He also played in the regional football team. "He was a wonderful student who had a positive impact on those around him, and he will be greatly missed", said the RMHS principal, Damon Monteleone.

Simeon was very talented. He was an amazing drummer who served in his home church (Jerusalem Charismatic Community Church) and played in many other local churches.

We all miss him dearly. Please help us honor our brother and take him to his last home with dignity. Donations will go directly to cover expenses related to his funeral. We know your heart is filled with kindness and we thank you in advance.
