Brother Jon's house burned down

Our brother Jon's home burned down two weeks ago in the Holiday Farm fire outside of Eugene, Oregon.

Thankfully, Jon, his daughter Heather and granddaughter Maddi escaped harm, but they lost everything.

The video shows firefighters saving the historic covered bridge over the McKenzie River in Vida, but as the camera pans, you can see Jon's home in flames just beyond the road sign.

This devastating fire left them with nothing. Everything is gone -- the tools Jon needs to ply his trade, all of their clothing and  belongings.

Miraculously, Maddi's pet cat, Cub, was found a week later by a neighbor, singed and a little worse for wear but basically unharmed. She's one grateful kid.

We're hoping you'll assist us in raising some funds to help them get back on their feet.

If you can spare $5 or $10, we would be grateful. This is your chance to have a meaningful impact on the lives of three people who are experiencing harsh times.

Thanks, guys
