On Saturday, April 3rd my younger brother, Daniel, was riding his dirt bike at a track in Arizona. Going 40mph and 15ft in the air, something went wrong and he had a horrific crash.

He was taken to Siena's ER Trauma Center stabilized and then transported to Sunrise Trauma Center for more acute care. Daniel suffered 2 cervical (neck) fractures, numerous other spinal fractures, 5 broken ribs, a partially collapsed lung, a lacerated adrenal gland, broken teeth and severe road rash over 75% of his back.

Dan is at home now slowly recovering. He has another 2 weeks to wear his neck and chest braces and he is definitely counting the days. Dan's medical bills are starting to trickle in. Bills for 'trauma calls' at 2 different hospitals, transport to Sunrise Hospital, countless x-rays, CT scans and MRIs, ICU room charge, lab work, hospital rooms, medications, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, consults with specialized physicians and a very expensive neck/chest brace. 

Luckily, Daniel has insurance from his work which helps pay some of the medical expenses but not all. We are reaching out to you for donations to help cover the remainder of the medical bills and any other expenses due to this horrible accident. Daniel got lucky and wasn't permanently impaired by his injuries but it was definitely a close call. 

He is doing a lot better today but now our worry is the medical bills. They could be devastating to the family. If you can, please donate to help us in this time of need.
