#BrooksStrong (Brianna Brooks)

On 1/20/21, we received some news that no family would want to receive. My daughter Brianna was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in her right femur. Brianna has started the fight, but it is going to be a long and grueling one. We are so happy to have the love and support of so many friends and family. Brianna will be going through intense chemotherapy at Albany Med, starting soon. She will need to have a port put in tomorrow before the chemotherapy, after 11 weeks of that, she will going for a major surgery in which they will take out the cancer in her femur (about 6 inches of her femur) and put a metal rod and replace her knee joint as well. After the surgery, she will then undergo more chemotherapy for a total process of about 9 months. Many of you know me personally, you know the type of man I am, the type of father I am. I have always been the type to give, to be there for my friends and family, never wanting or needing anything in return. I just wanted to be a good person and good friend. I was always told by many, that because of the good person I am, my character, that one day karma would catch up to me. That all my good deeds would be paid forward if you will lol.
