Brooks School Crew Marathon Fundraiser

Each year since 2017, the Brooks School Crew has traveled to the Clemson Outdoor Lab for our spring training trip. We are hoping to raise money for their summer camp program for disadvantaged kids as a thank-you gift for letting us use their facilities each year. On Sunday, January 12th, individuals from the boys and girls side of the team will compete on the Concept 2 ergometer for 42,195 meters. These athletes are seeking sponsorship to compete in a marathon. Some will compete for numbers on the record board (boys record: Finn Hayes ’23 2:50.37, girls record: Sylvia Marks ‘24 3:17.18 ) and others will compete to finish their first marathon. We hope that you will consider donating to this cause and wish us luck as we pursue a 5th straight year appearance at the USRowing Youth National Championships.
