Brooks Russell's support page

My friend Brooks had a tough break.. 

Do to an unfortunate assault in the past and continual cascading  medical issues, he has had a tough time piecing together a living. He was doing great finding gig work with the likes of Grubhub, etc

With all of this, hanging in the background, the last few weeks have been tough onthis guy.

He fell, re-injuring his knees that's making it hard for him to get around, where having the fluid drained would go along way to keeping him mobile.

His landlord, where he was subletting, raised his rent 2 ½ times. Now he is living in a motel requiring him to pay daily, which consumes his day rather than finding work. 

Additionally, the rainy Portland streets led to a minor injury to his car, his sole tool for which to drive for Grubhub et al to keep his life going..

Besides these problems, He is very food insecure, eating one meal a day. 

We are asking for money to pay rent for a couple of months so he can concentrate on work, to have the fluid on his knees removed, and a knee brace fitted. This willalso give him a couple of months of food security. 

My friend and her husband, Melissa and Scot Gue, and I ask to get Brooks some help so he can get past this and secure his near term future.

we implore you all to help Brooks get past this. We need one less homeless personin this world, and give Portland back a guy that wants to work hard and self sufficient..
