Help me help Brooks Horting (My Brother), Brandi Horting (His Wife and My Sister-n-law), their two boys Colt and Wyatt ( My Nephews) feel supported and loved during this unexpected, challenging time!!

• Brooks has been in the hospital since Thursday May 6, 2021. He was admitted with a abscess on his scrotum. He had an infection that was spreading up his groin area. He had cellulitis in his scrotum, had group steep b, and meningococcal infections. He also found out the he is diabetic. They did surgery on Friday May 7 and cut him 11 inches in the groin area. Since then he has been placed on a open wound vacuum and a picc line to receive antibiotics. They moved him on the 14th from Osteopathic Hospital to Select Specialty Hospital in Harrisburg. They are unsure of the time line of how long he will be there. Brooks is the bread winner of the family. Brandi is still working as well as running down to see Brooks, and taking care of the boys too. Once Brooks gets home he will still need to be off work till he is fully heeled.
