My name is Brook, and I’m reaching out because I’m in a very difficult place financially. I desperately need to move out of my parents house. In addition to that I owe money to the IRS and several other institutions, and I’m barely making enough to get by. I'm scared because I’ve been told my checks may start getting garnished soon — and once that happens, I won’t have enough to cover even the most basic living expenses let alone save for an apartment.

I’ve worked hard to stay afloat, but I’m at the point where I’m falling behind no matter what I do. The thought of losing what little stability I have is terrifying. I’m not asking for a handout. I’m asking for compassion, for understanding, and for any guidance or support that could help me find a way through this.
