Brooks' Emergency Surgery

Hello everyone, my name is Brooks and I'm a 10 year old Male Neutered Yellow Labrador Retriever. My dad got me when I was a wee pup many years ago and boy, did he ever love me! He said was such a good dog! Unfortunately, my dad contracted COVID earlier this year and it hit him pretty hard. He is an older gentleman, and he just wasn't able to care for me like he wanted to. My dad made the very difficult decision to send me to a new home with my new dad, Sean.
Sean's house is great! I made so many new friends and I was able to have the freedom of being a dog! I got to sleep in the big human bed, and lounge on the couch with my new siblings! However... I wasn't used to so much freedom, and as labs tend to do, I ate some things that weren't supposed to be eaten and the doctor had to do surgery to remove those things.
Just when we thought we were in the clear, and I got to come home after 2 days at the doggie ER (The Cove), I spiked a fever and had to go back to the ER for another surgery!
My friends are asking for donations to help with my emergency surgeries (2) as well as my very costly stays at the doggy ER.
