Brook's car accident

As some of you know I was in a car accident on April 18th. The brakes of my car failed as well as my son's seatbelt and we hit a stopped vehicle going almost 50 mph. Janzen was luckily stopped by the belt before it released and he sustained very minor injuries . I sustained the bulk of the injuries including a spiral fracture in my ring finger nuckle and bone, broke all the blood vessels on the top of my nuckles, whiplash, straining of my back muscles and tore something in my shoulder that will more then likely result in surgery. Over the past couple weeks I have come to learn how little insurance covers and is helping. So far I have had to spend over $2000 out of my pocket for, my rental car (insurance only covered 10 days) prescriptions, and doctor visits. I will need an MRI when I see a doctor on the 15th of May and then whatever treatment is needed after the results. I am in constant pain daily and stressed out of my mind. I've been told I need chiropractic care along with massage therapy as well. Multiple people have asked if they could start me a gofund me after saying no so many times I finally realized I needed to swallow my pride and ask for and accept some help. I made the decision to start it myself so someone else didn't have to deal with it and you could hear straight from me.

This accident could not have happened at a worst time (not that there is ever a good time) we are in mud season for the restaurant so I am making unemployment wages and to top it off my oldest son is getting married on the 13th of May. The money i have spent on this accident was money for wedding cost and rent. I have contacted a few attorneys but a manufacturer lawsuit is not something they take unless you are dead or messed up for the rest of your life. I have found one who is considering taking my case so I'm waiting for a decision.

To top all of this off my insurance didn't even give me enough to pay off my car, leaving me nothing for a down payment so I can get a new car.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, called text, taken me to the hospital ect. We were very lucky with the damaged my car sustained we should be dead or extremity messed up. This I am so very greatfull for!
