Brooks Abel Legacy Scholarship

Ryan and I welcomed our first child, Brooks Oliver Abel on December 18th at 1:02pm. We had 36 wonderful hours with him before he passed on December 20th due to complications with his lungs and kidneys. From the time we heard the news at 32 weeks, he was constantly moving and providing a strong heart beat until he joined the world. Ryan and I, along with friends and family, said for those 3 weeks that he must be a fighter and we believe that he truly fought as hard as he could to stay with us. 

We will never forget him and wish to honor him each year by providing a $500 college scholarship to an individual that exhibits a strong character through adversity. We will add more details on the scholarship as they are developed.
