Hello, Reds!
Liverpool Football Club has a long-standing connection with The Owen McVeigh Foundation, a Merseyside-based charity that aims to help local children and their families who are suffering from cancer. Funding from this wonderful foundation provides once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to, and support for, the children of the area.
As a show of support and connection to the city that we all love, we are asking Brooklyn-based LFC fans to consider donating what they can to the Owen McVeigh Foundation, so that it can continue to carry out this very important work.
A group of Reds supporters from Banter Bar will be attending their annual luncheon on May 8th in Liverpool and plan to present this lovely gift on behalf of all the Reds in BK.
With your support, we will show our fellow Reds that spreading love is truly the Brooklyn way and, even though we may be an ocean away, we will do what we can to make sure that no one walks alone. We thank you in advance for your support. YNWA
