It breaks my heart... It's been three days... A would have been a happy story of an NYC girl meeting a Midwestern girl in Detroit took a wrong turn...
Only Sunday the 21st, I met up with my love, Brooklyn in Indy for a couple of days. We kissed and was looking forward to another great time in Detroit on Friday... That is until I heard from her... "Hon, I can't be there."
Brooklyn went to the Dr's office on Tuesday the 23rd, the very next day after she left Indy, the day she had her exams. For those of you who know her, knows that he wouldn't miss it for an appointment or her real work.
She wasn't feeling good (according to her, but I can tell she was under excruciating pain). Without other recourse, the doctor sent Brooklyn to an ER. For the next THREE DAYS, various tests were performed, and we finally found out it was her gallbladder.
Cholecystectomy was performed on October 27th, but the surgeon punctured a tube during the operation. Brooklyn now has tubes coming out of her stomach, dripping bile into a bag, with no idea when the bag can be removed.... (not to get graphics) but she is still silly enough to send me the pic above!
Poor baby doesn't know when she will be able to come back to us, all the while baring pain and unrealized financial responsibilities. I would think this is some of the girl's worst nightmare. May I ask for all of us to lend out a helping hand? Today is Brooklyn, but we never know when it might be us. Spread love. Thank you.
