It seems so surreal that a week ago we were getting ready to move Brooklyn and Kendrick into their first apartment; just days before their baby shower.
Last weekend was filled with so many amazing moments and you could see the joy on both of their faces. Even last Sunday, they were sitting on the floor taking care of groceries together; truly they were the best of friends.
I can’t believe that we are now preparing for a funeral. Of a 19 year old, father to be-just days after such joy.
I hate the saying ‘Everything happens for a reason’, but right now it’s the only thing I can hold onto to make sense of what my sweet girl is going through.
As you all know, Brooklyn is 36 weeks pregnant. She just moved into her first apartment and was planning on saving money this last month to help get her through maternity leave. Now she is off of work for the time being and with the baby possibly coming at any time, she could be off for awhile.
She prepared so long for her apartment and now this.
I want to make things as easy as possible for Brooklyn; giving her time to grieve and bring her beautiful baby girl into the world.
ALL of the money will go directly to Brooklyn for expenses during this time. Please consider giving what you are led to.
