Hi, my name is MacKenzie. I am raising money for my niece Brooklyn Parsons and her mom, Holly Michelle. I also hope to raise funds for Brooklyn's brother, Romeo, and her grandparents, Kelly and Sherri.

Brooklyn was in a car accident on Saturday, September 6th. She was in the vehicle with her mom. Others involved in the accident are okay; however, Brooklyn has been in critical condition, yet stable, at Brenner's Children's Hospital. Brooklyn is a student at West Alexander Middle School. She is 13 years old and on the cheerleading squad.

Brooklyn has successfully had one surgery during her stay at Brenner's so far, but is currently in surgery today for complete facial reconstruction. A feeding tube and trach were placed earlier this week. Brooklyn has multiple facial fractures, has lost hearing in her left ear, her carotid artery has been damaged which puts her at risk for stroke, a slight skull fracture along with other complications. She has a long road to recovery ahead, but she is so courageous and so strong!

Holly has been by Brooklyn's side since the car accident occurred, as has her grandma Sherri. More than anything, we ask for prayer for Brooklyn and her family. Brooklyn's brother works full time, as well as their mother and grandmother. There has been lots of traveling back and forth from Brenner's to Taylorsville this week and many more trips to come for the family over the next few weeks. I would like to ask for help for those traveling, taking time off of work, and being there for Brooklyn during this time.
